Once a cheater

Once a cheater

A Poem by Red
"

Not autobiographical.

"
One last quiet call,
Just another quiet fall.
I need it now, today

I need new shoulders to cry on,
New back seats to lie on
Who know I cannot stay.

I must now cut fresher ties
get lost in fresher lies.
I have to hurt other guys,
Pull tears from other eyes.

I have to find some different fars,
Where tales don't drift from long before,
About all my wicked sultry days.

Just one soul
Won't fill this hole,
But it just don't work that way
And I always got my way.

Cheaters repent, distant minds it seems.

I must now cut fresher ties
get lost in fresher lies.

I so wish I had written these lines, sweet.
