On cross roads

No one around

No more tears to shed

All dried up

Definitely not sad

Not yet lost

Hold on to myself

None can help

Being on cross roads

Some time or the other

In a long journey

Birth to death, the end

Eventually, all come here

The moments seem

Moving slow, dragging

Thoughts deep ones

Rolling back-flash

One after the other

Thoughts pop-up, magnified

Such simple things

Ended all messed up

Did I fail to act!

Didn’t I respond in time!

Was I too eager!

Did I become too emotional!

Wish I could roll back!

Have my life re-run

May be then, a thought

Avoid being on cross again

If, at this moment

God were to come down

Granting me a wish

Which life I would chose!

My dear child

Here it is I offer

A life time to choose

Might avoid crossing again!

50 years of more life

What would be your wish!

A re-run life of past!

The alternate, a fresh one

Ah! A moment

Again I am on cross

Life a surprise

A package, unknown

More cross roads sure to come

No one can ever avoid

Surprise, is more exciting

‘A fresh life’, I yelled loud n clear

Yes....we shall always survive no matter how bad teh circumstances get we shall always make it to the other side of the road and continue on. Strength is shown here....very well done!

When we arrive at important moments in our lives and must decide which way to go using self reflection is the first step so we can learn from our mistakes before repeating them... nice display of mixed emotions.

Hold on to myself
None can help

My favorite part here.

Even if there are supportive people around, none can really feel what you're going through. It's upto us to gather all our strength and cross the road.

I like the spirit here. Encouraging oneself to go on, travel more roads and live a fulfilling existence.

I stumbled at a couple of places here.
Didn't I respond in time! = Did I not respond in time!
50 years of more life = 50 more years of life
I think a re-edit would fix things up.

Other than that, fantastic write.

It is always hard being on a cross road in your life, specially when you are really clueless about which route you want to take and like you, most of us craves a new beginning...
Actually I would love to start over with the knowledge that I have today, making sure that I won't go the same way again. However they say, what happened yesterday made you what you are today, but does that mean that you are a better person? Does that make you happy and mostly does that take away the tears and regrets of yesterday?
No, you are still the same, well almost, maybe a day or two older and hopefully a little wiser.

Great piece Pal, really thought provoking as you can see. Got me rambling on .... ha ha

This is such a great write , full of raw and vivid emotions. I also found a great sense of optimism in it, which has been described so beautifully...The font style and color is enhancing the readability and emotions behind the write.
A very well penned work! :)
