My imagery

My imagery

A Poem by Grahm Thoman

Within their perspective

 I’m smiling.

 Never a doubt in the world,

`               I wish only that were true.

Left to my own thoughts,

Looking into a mirror;

 The gleam of nothing shines through me.

Only space;

Empty

Gleaming

Reflective material

I’ve become.

                                                           Reflecting on which you wish to believe

                               They all see what I wish to appear to be.

             If only they knew it is trickery to whom they know,

      To reflect in which they want to see of themselves

                 A mere projection

Like the concept, the self reflection and reflection of what people think is true and what the self knows to be true. Great write. Do some more.
