A Poem by Cecilia

Since that night i've been walking around with my body in a different form.
It feels like you left my chest open for the infection to attack,
I'm stumbling around with my calf muscles strewn out and my thighs have been mutilated with your own pretty words.
I think it's obvious that the path to this heart is littered with those who came before, those who were stronger.
You left me laughing in delusions and listening to british pop sing about irony and love,
I'll admit i'm tad scared that i won't be able to be the one to write about our irony and love,
But even if this is true i'll still sacrifice my eyes to help you see that you're a fallen star,
In return i'll ask you to turn into an ocean that i can sink to the bottom of,
I'm reclaiming my creativity, for better or for worse i'm yet to know.
