A Million Stars Away

A Million Stars Away

A Poem by Ironbutt
"

wait not one more moment..waste not one more second..tell it like it is...

"
So many things I should have told her...
while she had her head on my shoulder..
but I was lost in my todays...
now I reach out out to condole her..
but I am already a million stars away...
too late...
No one knew our see you later..
would end up with news in the paper..
just seemed like any other day...
so many things  left to say..
out here.. a million stars away..
too late.....
Now as I see it from afar..
as she crys  face up to the stars..
wonder if she too can see my face...
a million stars away...
too late.....
