Heaven's gallery

A Poem by Harshini Rajachander

Heaven's Gallery

Sitting upon the summit was I,

The beauty around staring me in the eye,

With chariots of clouds moving above,

And a silent carpet of canopies beneath me.

In the still perpetuity of the in-between was I,

Swatting aside the insidious touch of Memory,

And opening up to nature's quiet embrace,

I breathed in the heavens and let myself be.
