Golden Fantasy

Golden Fantasy

A Poem by Richard Dotson, Jr.

Do you feel me caressing, your soft, golden skin?
Our minds bond as our souls merge deep within.
How did it feel when I gazed into your big, brown eyes, deeply searching your soul?
Just the mere thought of you sends a chill up my spine and makes me lose control.
What is it about you that makes a man go insane?
Your presence is soothing like a bird chirping on my window pane.
As I lay at night, I can hear your voice whistling in the wind.
Your nature is caring and serene like an angel God would send.
Your complexion is golden, and your body is nice and fluffy like biscuits made from buttermilk.
I used to think your approach was callous, but I've realized it's smoother than silk.
Our paths crossing wasn’t a coincidence, it was decided by fate.
Patience is a virtue, so the outcome is beneficial to these who wait.
I sometimes visualize us walking together, under a nice sunset, with you wrapped by my arm.
I know that when I'm with you , I'm away from harm.
You are permanently embedded in my cerebral, so I don't need Fuji to get the picture.
I will treat you with respect and honor, from your mind and soul to your well sculpted figure.
You're kind and hospitable like your kin down South.
I can visualize without vision, feel you without touch, smell you without scent and speak without the use of my mouth.
