Eve to Snake:

"To see the world
you must first taste
the forbidden fruit,"
she says,
"You have not
truly lived until you do.

You must know all
and be known to all-
To everyone and everything
to be truly free.

You must show
you are fierce and bear teeth!
Flail your arms wildly in the air,
with fists closed
a warning
so others may stay away-

Then, only then
you may shove
as much reward as you can fit
into your mouth
before you have to flee.."

Snake to Eve:

"But all is here
is not truly here,
and all that does not exist
exists.

I'll move in silence
as not to be seen,
so I'll see all,
I feel all
observing everything
around me
moving unnoticed."

Never underestimate
the power
of underestimation,
He tells her.

"Ssshhh.....
I'm about to strike!
They will reel by the sheer pain
and shock of a precise hit!
Blinded
It catches them by surprise.
With their backs turned arched
I shall eat freely and watch
as they blame you for it."
