Four Months Now

Four Months Now

A Poem by Hollywood

The first gift you gave me was a shock.

A little music box.

You had one too,

they both played the same tune.

This was after I had betrayed you.

I've done this more than once.

Still, you stick by me,

without second thoughts.

I appreciate you,

I don't show it.

I love you,

but most people wouldn't know it.

Our past has been rocky.

Our future however,

secure.

After basic training I know you'll ask,

you'll be holding a ring.

I know you will, because I know you love me.

& I love you too,

Caveman.

Beast.

Boo.

I love you too.

Good poem of the ups and downs of love. Natural and truthful.....down to earth as well. Thank you for submitting this to my Valentine's contest! ~ Helena

I like the poem a lot. Wrote with a honest pen. Life is a hard lesson. Must hold on tight to the good things. Don't come around too often. A very good ending to the poem.

A beautiful piece that concentrates on the relationship between the two rather then on the two. I like it was sweet

I enjoy how this piece weaves in and out of love and betrayal. Hope and heartbreak. That is very interesting to me and, for a young writer, very rare.
