Is that a Cat?

Don't read if squimish.

Squashed pile of bones & fur.

It was once someone's pet,

now just decay.

The lifeless animals organs

have been picked away.

The sun bakes the carcass.

The rain beats it down

to mush but

doesn't wash it away.

Possums, coyotes, rabbits, cats, dogs, skunks, and sometimes birds. Happens all the time over here.
