The Moon and the Romantic.

The Moon and the Romantic.

A Poem by Tiarra Templeton

Oh blue moon, won't you sing to me?
I'm calling out words that I'd never sing
I'm dreaming up dreams most would never dream
Still so behind, but I gave everything

And oh, pretty moon, how you lie to me
Ignite my faith, crumble up honesty
You appear so bright, its so hard to believe
That your false words, they hide behind your perfect teeth

But moon, you always promised me
That you'd give me your stars, said they shined for me
Your a tease and you love like the seven seas
Waves crashing like hearts beneath bed sheets

Bright moon, tell me you'll light up the sky for me
Say you'll always be there, say you'll never leave
When the night is new, I know you'll hide from me
But you won't be too far, you said you'd never be

I love the night and the moon so i love this poem as well... I think why we always find it so romantic is not only the power and mystery but it is very symbolic cause it always returns just like true love... needless to say a brilliant piece of emotional artwork.
