chapter one

flash back

"Caspian how much longer?" I asked stumbling  over a large tree root

" Not that long Dia" "be patient" my brother soothed

"but my feet are really hurting" I moaned  "I hate these woods!, we've been walking  for hours" 

He cracked a small smile showing his perfect white teeth

"It'll be worth it in the end"

once he turned around I stuck my tongue out at him.

"you used to that when you were two" I  stopped myself from saying something I regretted

"c'mon I'll  carry you if you want " he offered

"really!" "yay"

he knelt down  and I jumped on his back.

 

6 months later

I woke up with hair plastered to my face

The sun was  just  coming up over the  horizon .

I forced myself up , my back was aching from sleeping on the floor again.

I packed my supplies up I wanted to get ahead today,

After walking for about 45 minutes

An arrow flew straight past me it landed on tree a few meters away.

Instinctively I  span around and grabbed for  sword .

There was nothing or know one there, well not that I could see anyway.
