Deluge

Deluge

A Poem by Scott Troy

It washes over you like a complicated symphony of soldiers armed with violins. Soft, sweet, with a hint pain. Mmm. That sweet feeling of rentention then euphoric release. A war of words and a medley of foreplay. A benign sense of safety and mellow content. I'll sing your name. An recollect the feeling of your body in the morning sun. By chance to feel a touch and by the passion that drives us to feel your heat an breath against me. Few words and the flutter of a thousand wings.

Oh. My. Gosh. This releases so many different visuals and emotions, and it's like being attacked by beauty. Which isn't very eloquent, but this poem flows and is written so nicely. I want to live in it.
