Heat

Heat

A Poem by Sarah

Heat, my worst enemy
Its pleasure is my pain
I can’t get away
It traps me with its flames
My body coats itself with sweat

Every cell screams
My mind is begging for release
I can feel my skin melt
My eyes are out if focus

The world is spinning and I can feel it
Make it go away, my lips utter
Rains please come this way
Won’t this
