once upon a feeling

I wrote this one a few months ago, I only just came across it recently.

Once upon a feeling
Nights were magical
Silence didn't exist
My cheerful hopes ran wild

Once upon a feeling
Days were exhilirating
I lived for just five minutes
Five short minutes with you

Twice upon a realization
My world disintegrated
All hope for an adventure
Dissolved like snow

Countless times on reality
I've strangled our hopes
I've faced bitter truth
We won't be going back

You can be sure I've cried
So often, just bled myself dry
Nothing can be done now
It's over.

Very powerful words....so many times these thoughts happen to me as well.....
could feel all the pain and frustration,
once you get past that, the hope will show itself....
remember to accept the good, it is out there, sometimes its harder to see though....
