Private Time

Private Time

A Poem by Tony Hwilka

Every now and then

               your words reach me

I come from darkness

               observe what used to be

You and I

               living our dream

waltzing in love --

Every now and then

              I try blending

until I realize

              you -- our life --

fragments within my mind

Now -- I beg not to leave

for without you

          I exist merely

in my private time --

About
In the land of poetry I've been very luckly. I have had my own poetry show on radio station WTTM Trenton N.J. reading my poetry from 1982 -- 1990. Was president of the Southern Poets of N.J. and still.. more..
