A Summer Holiday

A Summer Holiday

A Poem by Tony Hwilka

A woman's love

                    is like the sun

                    on a summer day

At dawn

                    she is cool and coy

                    with flirtation

At noon

                     passon so intense

                     she blends

                     her song with his

At seven

                    her radiance shrinking

                    nearer the horizon

                    only warms the skin

At nine

                    as the sky darkens

                    she is but a glow

                    and a hushed memory

                    sleeps with him

Interesting and intriguing write Tony. I was trying to read between the lines
and could only guess....but I think this was a very deep write. albeit seeming
simple in context.

I enjoyed this!
