Midnight

Midnight

A Poem by Tony Hwilka

He walks the path

             that spirits shadow

His dreams are those

             that would make men scream

                     shake in fear

Separation of mind - soul - the body's end

Life is bright white

in the middle of the day

Begins -

             ends in darkness

Most would not understand

             which moment blends

                              yesterday with today

In the land of poetry I've been very luckly. I have had my own poetry show on radio station WTTM Trenton N.J. reading my poetry from 1982 -- 1990. Was president of the Southern Poets of N.J. and still.. more..
