Wind Lover

Wind Lover

A Poem by Tony Hwilka

As I lay in bed awake

I hear whispers

Your whispers of yesterday

The midnight wind

Softly blows magic

Over empty room and me

As your spirit -- lies besides me

My heart begins to warm

I drift into a dream

Loving you and the wind.

I liked this poem. There wasn't much to it, but you managed to describe the scene and the feelings so well.
