Antichrist

Antichrist

A Poem by Muse
"

I will never confess my sins to an infallible mortal. It's between me and God. Not between man and man.

"
Just
words
OBSCURED.

A thistle of hurt, it
pricks like a kiss.
This dull knife finds my wrist.

Confess.
Confess they say......
or there will be hell to pay.
Fire away..fire away.

I can't
Because....
I won't.

Too many psalms
without a quote.
I see....
a coward's smile
that braves only the dark.

Confess.
Confess they say.
I am the lark.

Who do you bow down to?
Have you any clue?
666
This imperfection of ours
it's dark
I know it's dark.
But it becomes my....

          beauty
           mark.

Confess...
Confess they say.
So I take another drag in,
PUFF....
smoke in your face
taste my disgrace.

Confess...
Confess they say.
Show me a Pope,
a Priest,
with no sin to pay.
And I will...I will.
I will confess!

Muse
I posted this viral video...to show how many false Gods we worship even in our Government. They have no minds of their own...like the religious leaders of today....we take for granted everything that they do and say.....

Interested in an analysis of all the occult symbolism? Check out this site..they do an excellent job of shedding light on the obscure truth.

"show me a priest with no sins" yes,

well, i have strong feelings about organized religion (raised catholic) and the majority are not positive...

especially the whole confession thing...

i think this raises some good points about what we worship today in our society...

your writing is quite thoughtful...and it makes us stop and think...

i really enjoy visiting your page...

another level.

Very much open to interpretation. No matter my opinion, because let's face it, we all question and wonder our entire lives- it's a pleasure to see a bold assertion comprised so beautifully, and that is what poetry is about.
I really enjoyed this piece, as I always do! :)

Thanks. You're right about that--I'll keep that in mind for next time :)
You have set me in silence with such a powerful write! The poets freedom of the soul's voice that you gave it within the writing is wonderful, yet some have taken and silenced it within the reviews. Your words brought freedom to the bound thoughts of "holy men"...as we are all the same and free to be as such. Wonderful write!

Poetry is designed to induce thought. You did that brilliantly! Bravo!

I agree with your words. I was brought to the church and left. I found more peace with nature and internal reach for happiness. I like your thoughts and photos. Sad when men of faith do terrible things. Religion had done great and kind things in our world. I supported with the Army. Food, medicine and water to the Catholic church in many places in this world in need. I like your view and enjoyed the outstanding poetry.

This really hits the mark on how I feel about religion, trying to scare us into their way of thinking when many of the religious leaders are the biggest hypocrites. Your words are raw and direct... I say an anti-AMEN!!

And what about Baptism? Catholics believe you need a sprinkle of water to go to heaven? What gives?

Opening up a can of worms here, you wrote this so well. Indeed only God can judge seems through religion all religions man has become judge and jury.
