It's
the genesis
of freedom that hides deep in my
mind. The words float across the parchment, and it pours
throughout the grain. All of this; it reads like a vapor,
splitting my lips in two.  As I speak, the narration cuts deep.
Every vowel thickens my veins. Remarkable; how my ideas
begin to spill over. Baptized by inspiration, as the voracity
spills across an empty page. The syllables penetrate my changing
skin. I see it transpire; the letters fragmentalize.  Nouns, verbs,
and adjectives, bleeding a new passage with my fingertips.  I
trace the font that flirts Bookman Old Style, and Lucida Console.
There's a magic; a gravitational pull, my mortal embodiment
begins to whittle off.  Blending into the book that cradles
my ideas, dreams, and secrets. Falling away; an evaporation of
physical self.  The mystery that surrounds me, carries me
with an elegant lucidity.  I can finally rest my ghost,

                                                                          upon

                                                                                the

                                                                    EMPTY

                                                                               shelf.....

I like the artwork and the strong words. Writing is my pleasure also. Take me away to better places and free me for a moment to wander in words and thoughts.

Amazing Brilliant! "upon the empty shelf" it's so true. Very creative deep poem, the lines are taking the writer to the virtual screen! stunning dear. xx

Two thumbs up! This is a little newer take on what it feels like to write, when we purge ourselves of what is just waiting to get out. I felt like the ending fit this piece very well, especially with your signature playing with font size. Excellent work, as usual! :)

dear friend.. you really hit one out of the park with this one.. ! ...

creating something, out of nothing, is pretty cool isnt it.. sometimes when i know ive got the time to sit down.. like a weekend.. and write, something, come hell or high water..there is this cool feeling of discovery of, what in the heck is going to come out, this time... we, or at least I, just never really know, and then sometimes... ususally when someone writes a review from an older piece, you get a chance to, read it again, and your like.. wow, i actually wrote that... that wasnt half bad hahaha..

you did really good with this one ... i give it................ two.... (((((hugs))))) ((((((hugs)))))

:)

Think you should make something of the difference between Bookman Old Style and LUCIDA CONSOLE. not Lucinda. Bookman is a Serif font, LC is a sans serif font. Be careful of repeating things...
Thoughts you express possibilities bbut you should think about what you're doing. Think more...write less! :-)

Maybe you should take your reviews with a grain of salt?!

All I see is a young girl writing in her diary telling her secret hopes and fears to the ever attentive page recording her thoughts in an unspoken comforting manner. Do we not all feel that we are looked upon maybe even read but never really understood. Your use of deeply moving metaphor is wonderful especially the sadness of the ending. Doubt anyone would leave you upon the shelf why would they shelve such beautiful words when they could be reread and once more enjoyed, keep em' coming

The concept in which you use your words in this masterpiece amuse me. When we write with different words and the verbs along with nouns that represent the imagery, it makes writing even more addicting. The emotions poured into this make me want to say more than just physical words. Its magic for one thing...I completely love it. Thank you for such a great poem. The picture adds to the fragmentation of what you're trying to say. Thank you.
