Tragically Frozen

Tragically Frozen

A Poem by Vertigoingnowhere

I just want to mean something

Make a difference

Ease the pain

I don’t want to be just a pretty face

Or just another brick in the wall

Do you see me?

I mean really see me

I don’t want to be just a distraction

I've been in the place of used

I don’t want to go back there

I just want to be happy again

I'm tired of the pointless tears

And the holes in my wall

I just want to fill the emptiness

With something other than destruction

Brought back feelings of my own invisibility....viewed but never seen

Posted 9 Years Ago

We all want to mean something in this world, but I feel we all need to find our own happiness. We shouldn't have to depend on others in order to have it or to feel complete. The dark places we've been in our lives just make us stronger and build us up to conquer anything that comes our way. Tears are tears, but they all mean something when we let them out...be it for no reason at all or not. There is a way to fill your emptiness without the possibility of destruction.

Just be what you are, don't mind what they say. Stood up and tell them that you can. :)
