Cliff

Cliff

A Poem by A.A.Romanczuk

Well you pushed me off the cliff again

Again, you stoned my poetry stone dead

For sins it did not commit, you stoned my

Poetry and you missed the point, again

You spoke of your love again, and again

You spoke of your love, but I jumped off

The cliff this time, this time I jumped

Not a tear was shed this time, not one tear

Was shed, I’ll not be coming by this time

I jumped off the cliff, I did,and you cannot

You cannot push me off the cliff again

I lack your wisdom, sir Ed. Should the cliff's be closed today?

no, you need to watch where you walk...the cliffs are beautiful, as soon as you can trust yourself

:)
This is a strong line, 'you stoned my poetry stone dead', absolutely alarming. The jumping off the cliff seems to somehow neutralise the power of the one inclined to push. There's a rush of passionate anger here, too.
