Oh religion, such a touchy topic...

I don't have much faith

it is not for show

what comes after death

I don't care to know

I'm here to share love

and I hope you can see

if I should face "God"

the fault is on me

I struggle to believe

that heaven's my end

but when death calls

my love I will send

Listen to me now

Nirvana seems right

to be one with the universe

would be a delight

I find it very influential that you have those kinds of thought towards death. That it isn't fear, but acceptance. Also, I have a sweet spot for anything involving death, not always morbidly, and I love to hear other people's theories and beliefs on death. You know, other than just Heaven. Or Heaven, but with changes than just the normal religious beliefs. The truth is, no one knows when death will come and what it will be like, so we have to find some form of ability to cope with that. Some turn to religion, some just ignore it, and some find their own twisted way to face the fact of death. I have a poem similar in topic to this, A Simple Song to Sing. You do what you wish with that information, read it or not. If you find interest in others' perception of death, I encourage you to read it. If you're content with your own, then don't. I just would like to share my positive opinion of your poem and show my respect for your talent.

Yeah, I've always been into the thought of death and dying, because of my own depression. I've thought about many beliefs and have done a lot of personal research on Christianity. I really would like to know what your own personal beliefs are, because I'm very open minded to others and their beliefs. Thank you so much for this review, I'd be happy to read yours.

You're very much welcome. And in that, we are similar. I have always questioned the unknown, but have grown to realize I cannot force an answer out of nothing. I understand the beliefs of others, despite how radical or conservative they are, but I've always held a rather felxible belief that what happens to me, shall happen. Believing something while I am living, will not affect me when I am dead. However, I respect all views on death, and anything for that, and reserve my views to myself and do not try to force them upon others. As for my poem, go right ahead. It's waiting there, on my profile, ready for any judgment.

That's what I want to hear from more people. I love seeing open-minded people throughout the world, but also open-minded people who have a sense in what's right and wrong, too. I don't want a lot of people who aren't scared of death running around acting foolish or not respecting others, but I feel like you understand that and truly embrace the idea of being alive, which is awesome, because although we are both young we can truly understand this.

I understand that completely. I think this is the most essential time to learn and truly embrace your intelligence. Most kids are partying and doing drugs, which I'm not catagorizing intelligent people can be doing that, but they're wasting their worth. Then again, thge root of a person still remains through those kinds of bad decision, but it's short-lived. Those things can really tear you down. That's why I'm iffy about alcohol and marijuana, but completely aganist any other drugs and smoking. This is the time of the most intellectual growth, I believe, people can experience and advance. It's sad to see it being wasted away through bad decisions. They're never bad people, just very lost. It's sad, because I personally know and am friends with these kinds of people.

Yeah, I know exactly what you mean I have a lot of friends who that's all they want to do, but they don't want to sit back and see life from a broader scope. I hate that I can't sway them, but only get to watch as they continue to do things that I wish they would not do. There is one thing that I can't condemn and that's smoking weed, because I am an almost everyday smoker, but that's after I have finished all my work and have finished studying. The only reason that I wouldn't condone such behavior is if you're poor, or have very strict parents. So that's a little something about me, but yes it's tough seeing friends fall down the wrong path right before your eyes.

Yeah, I have a somewhat friend going down that path. I'd love to help her, but it's her life and her decisions. And I've since excluded her from my life for certain reasons. Not being her issues, but my own. And I'm pretty split on my opinion on weed. But I'm not here to stand contraversy, so I'm keeping that opinion to myself. Best let sleeping dogs lie.

Yeah, it sucks to see friends who are falling down in life and won't reach out to you, but remember it's their life and there is nothing that you can do to sway them. And yeah I'll let you believe whatever you want to, because I'm no one to tell you what to believe.

I like this one. I've written about similar things before so I can relate, sometimes you just think about spirituality and when you turn it into writing unique things come out. You make good points, spirituality is such a difficult thing for a lot of people to talk about, so I just decided that I should put mine out there, because I enjoy discussions on the topic.
Yeah, I have been asked many times by my Christian friends what I would say if in fact I had to face the judgement of God and that's exactly what I would say.
