Give Hope

A poem

She shuffles up the street, 

Looking for hope, 

Looking for saftey, 

Looking for love. 

All the people who pass her,

Turn up their large noses, 

Avert their greedy eyes, 

And forget the girl. 

There is one who was like her, 

One that stops, 

One that took her under their wing, 

One that loved her. 

When you see those in need, 

Give them some hope, 

Give them some love, 

And you will change the world.
