Hidden

Hidden

A Poem by Dano

Something missing a hollow emptiness

Apart of me

Sitting just below the cracked surface

Nurtured never

Its purpose lost on me

Carrying its weight since I was just a child

Barely walking I buried it deep below

Twenty seven and still it resides

Living and loving still nothing fills this

Hollow empty shell buried in my soul

Why’d you leave me with this intangible hole

No answers you’re mind severely broken

Hiding is no answer even for you

I would save you if you'd let me
