my loss

my loss

A Poem by jenny
"

my best friend died and this is in memory of his one year anniversary

"
you left me here on this earth landed
no wings just feet both of them planted
I got nothing else im alone in this world
i dont know where to go my mind has been so twirled

you gave me wings
together we could fly
but God took you away
And i shall never know why

to my best friend my loyal companion
everytime i think of you my heart sinks like a canyon
i never want to forget you and everything weve done
i thought we had all the time in the world yet now we have none

you gave me wings
together we could fly
but God took you away
And i shall never know why

you are my angel and youve grown wings
i think of you all the time oh the sadness it brings
left me here on earth with a challenge to face
i just wish that i could be with you one more embrace

you gave me wings
together we could fly
but God took you away
And i shall never know why

i know its been a year but my feelings will not fade
every night i wonder why every night ive prayed
i wish you could be there i need you right now
people tell me to move on but i really dont know how

you gave me wings
together we could fly
but God took you away
And i shall never know why

i love you
forever
and
always
