sungod

sungod

A Poem by howlingwolf
"

he holds the sun in his hands

"

he holds the sunshine in his hands

his silhoutte a black spray against the orange sun

he sits upon a yellow cloud

a golden nimbus

the sun falls to the earth

he utters a cry

he paws for it

trying to grasp it

at last he grabs it

he holds it high once again
