The road is on fire,

Crying like the echoes of a child.

The blue casque tries to contain,

It tries in vain,

While we claw each other blind.

The dice are now rolling,

Stand back, let’s stare for a while.

Watch them hit the edge,

Fall to dust,

Our time is slowly fading.

Pity can only play his part,

On the stage of a rusty heart,

While humour waits in the wings.

Humour will bring the curtain down,

No more tears and no more sounds,

Don’t worry, the violence will start again.
