Dear cuting

Dear cuting

A Poem by child of God
"

A letter to my worsted enemy

"
Dear cutting,
I don't need you anymore,
all you did was get me in
trouble, you are
not cool, you didn't
help, all you did was cover
up the pain. Yes, in the
past I thought
you were my only
friend but I
was wrong,
you are nothing
now, just
a part of my
past. Bye.

Sincerely,
Broken girl

I enjoyed the poem. Good to defeat the desire of cutting. I like the flow of thoughts and the reason for the poem. Some goodbyes are needed in our life. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.

Marvellous. A very positive poem, so clear and honest. An inspiring work for others, actually, and a monument to personal achievement for the better. The conviction of the words is strong, happy and hopeful, the poem expresses and shines real light at the end of personal tunnels. Great poem indeed.

My pleasure, thank you.
It is difficult often to admit a time of struggling. The fact that you moved past a time in your life where cutting was the answer is strength. You are no longer there. Your structure may not be the smoothest or easiest to read at first, but your message is one to listen to. Well done
