Friendly Fire

Friendly Fire

A Poem by zaneybear
"

i had gotten in a fight with my "best friend" and realized I cared too much for him.

"

Stoge in pocket.
Baggy in hand.
Rusty old lighter.
Covered in sand.

I know you don't care,
so I must ask this.
Let's restart?
Because it's you i miss.

We have grown,
Further apart.
Seeing you not care,
is breaking my heart.

I hate caring so much,
when you could care less.
According to you,
I'm just a big mess.

I really don't know,
what else to say.
Do you really not care,
that we fight this way?

I truly thought,
that you were my friend.
With this in mind,
should our friendship just end??

Really touching and real..
Unfortunately I've been there many times and it always hurts so much that you'll never forget it..
