Yellow and round and large

It waits for me to eat it

Delicious and delectable with no doubt

I eat the cheese and savor its taste

Amazing for being so wonderful

I love the look, smell, and feel

Of delicious cheese and its wonder

How can something be so wonderful?

Aesthetically pleasing and beyond words

Something that can nourish your body

Soul, mind, and heart

Bite by bite I eat the cheese

Its last bits going into my stomach

After a few more bites and it's gone

The cheese wheel is now digested

Afterwards I ponder and ponder

How can something be so yummy?

Nutritious and good for your bones

A mystery to be solved

I go to the market and see more cheese

Stacked high with many wheels

I'm tempted to buy another wheel of cheese

But remember to be calorie-conscious

I go home after a day of shopping

Life was and is so busy these days

A wheel of cheese can alleviate

Many bruises and pains
