Winter Nights

Winter Nights

A Poem by BlueShadow

Winter Nights

Like snowflakes falling down across the landscape

I feel a sense of beauty, love, hope, joy and mysticism

I admire the winter’s austere serenity

The winter night is chilly to the bone

The only sound is the howl and cry of the wind

A barren landscape full of bare trees and snow

I feel exuberant with life as the sun comes up and melts

The snow that fell and covered the land with fluff.
