Freeze

Freeze

A Poem by Hyorin

In winter's pallid dress,
she lost herself in distress,
in the eddying of snowflakes,
and the whiteness of mistakes.

The blizzard screamed and froze
her hopes and dreams shatter
as she lay on the snow in repose
lest she to judgement fetter.

The warmth of family so frigid,
the concept strange yet vivid,
as winter sang its last riff
a dirge unknown yet reminiscent of home
