Bug

A poem about wanting to make excuses to talk to someone... almost "bug" them.

Can I call you?
Do you have a sec?
I've nothing specific to say,
but I'll think of something
if you'll let
me come up with a plan
unless you've something to do
in which case I'll drop everything
so that I can help you
can I bug you?
Don't care if I get zapped
I feel like I'm flying
and you're a Venus Fly Trap
I'm encased in amber
and part of me doesn't mind
If I've a grin on my face,
am I really in a bind?
