Dream gone away

Looking at you, 

I feel as if some dream separated from me

has come back,

As if we've passed through a years' long night,

And now

The morning gust has come back,

I kept awake for a long time,

I came too far,

But this dream didn't let me go

This poem speaks to me about a dream which you had thought gone, which now has a chance of revival. Not sure if that was what your words intended, but that was how I interpreted them.

I tried writing about a lost dream, which was actually a person, who I thought I had lost, and when I saw them again, the memories came back to me. I think I make sense.
