Smile

Smile

A Poem by Michelle Sanderfoot
"

All you need to do is smile.

"

My heart beats fast

As your gaze meets mine.

The corner of your mouth raises

As you smile, sublime

Though it isn't just that

You tip my chin up

And whisper a small hymn

And thats when I've had enough

The corner of  my mouth rises

As I smile, sublime.

Matching yours,

Side by side.
