For the Creative Bad Poetry Contest

She was a student of physics

hung up on holographic theories

held down by quantum gravity-

totally tied up with string theory

 

She was almost but not quite attractive

no slave to the subliminal ads of cosmetics

she dressed in cheaply made pink flamingo shirts

and light brown skinny jeans a size too big

 

Her only limitation was the fiscal black hole 

she lived, commonly known as higher education.

Nothing but apathy for lesser beings, she had big plans

 to paint the cosmos with her stellar intellect.

that fiscal black hole will be holding her back I'm afraid...she may have to put world domination on hold.....Brilliant piece this ICE..I felt it could have gone on and on some more....I have known people just like this....unfortunately some of them really DO make it big...Arrogance and education go a long way....

It's just how the words came together, I honestly had no control over it! And yes, it's Big Bang Theory all the way. I based my character on a Penny-Amy hybrid lol. I love that show and I watch it all the time. I want to sit in Sheldon's place on the couch and meet Howard's mother! Thanks Angi.
