When I woke up

my heart was

soundless.

Big, hard, and more heavy

than the night before.

Knowing avoidance

would never work,

for long.

No motion, rock like

and formless..

where..is there devotion?

NO, and finding ignoring

impossible, to employ.

There was no surprise,

about disappointment.

Nor grand expectations about

silly notions.

But soundless and

hard, seeming to lack life.

Nor will proper speech, distract..

enough.

Nerves on edge and

my awkwardness sets in,

Love is truly damnation.
