Vulnerable

Vulnerable

She stares outside her window
Moonlight cascades the stage

The characters take their place

And she is the leading lady,

Sentenced to her window

An act established before an audience

Stimulates a crowd of just one

Just one shining star full of moons,

Just one absent piece to her crypt

Sphynxlike thoughts corrupt her mind

A resolution still to be contrived

She places her hand upon the cold, transparent barrier

Pressing with the emphatic force of hope

An eruption of sparkling confetti

Lavishes her characters in it's rain

She is finally notorious in a story she wrote

Valiant of what the end might bring.

Hi. My names Katie, I've been writing since I was about 13 years old. I think what inspired me most to start writing were the hard times that occured around that age, and putting those anxieties down .. more..
