bed wetter

bed wetter

A Poem by Christine

she saw snakes
on her bedroom walls

slithering slobs
puking shadows
all over the floors;

when you wake up
covered in urine,
ask your father
to

slaughter them;
slay
their
slimy
bodies,

put them down
the garbage disposal,

wash the sheets,
take a bath,
don't wake your mother

whatever you do,
don't close
your eyes
again
