Missing

Missing

A Poem by inconsistentsea
"

How much of something that was so important is remembered as it actually was?

"

Once a staple of my routine,

you have disappeared.

Perhaps of my own doing.

Words once an avenue,

so meaningful,

now almost all forgotten.

Emotions vapourific,

lost to the darkness,

the sinuous varec of my mind.

Delicate memories victims.

How many are unsullied

by time and emotion?

I sit flabbergasted still

that all of myself I gave

was returned to sender.
