Late May

Late May

A Poem by Inda

Late May

Time has been cruel,

Like fire mixed with fuel.

Chaos had its way.

It has not rained in early May.

You have lost your broken heart.

A storm of lust tore it apart.

She left even though you begged her to stay,

Still, no rain in the ides of May.

Depression took you by the wrists,

Choked and rid you of your wits.

Another soul has gone astray,

As the rain falls in late May.

Thank you.
Wow. This was brilliant, really. I got a bit sad reading this. It was beautiful and depressing and it told a story. Very enjoyable. Good job.
