Shadows

Shadows

A Poem by Ingy
"

Wise words from my father.

"

Suddenly, I can’t see past
the shoulders of the giants
that loom over me.

Each one has my father’s face,
and they breathe in my ear,

“Katie, Katie; love comes from
everywhere,
and is usually born
in darkness.”
