Winter isolation


world outside is one colour


snowfalls, high winds, freezing rain



 

Falling temperatures


consumed by snowdrifts


snowflakes have lost their glitter

It seems winter won't stop here either. I so long for spring and summer again. Snow stinks so bad, and the winds are so chilling too. I really enjoyed this write, nicely done

That last line sums up the disassociation with pleasure and wonder winter is often known for in our youth. The reality of going through such harsh conditions adds anxiety to the season. I hate those high winds most of all.
You put it into perspective in a way I never could.
