April sun bright but cold

vegetation slowly waking

impatient for warmth and colour

love this haiku and the subtle personification of the vegetation being impatient...like a child who hasn't yet learned to wait for things to come.

Jacob, I'm about to have a temper tantrum if spring doesn’t get here soon. Winter came early we had very cold weather well before Halloween and it moved into snow, ice and a mixture of both, high winds and it’s still too cold for late April.

I hear ya...we are having pretty nice weather in Southern Illiniois...sixties and seventies...but Chicago is getting snow...so i can just imagine how cold it is up by you in Canada...wow.
