This poem is a thoughtful and encouraging reflection on the importance of self-determination and creativity. The message feels warm and uplifting, reminding the reader to stay true to themselves and embrace their unique gifts. The idea that the inner voice isn’t always your own is a powerful insight, offering a sense of freedom and clarity when it comes to navigating doubt and external expectations. The advice to listen when it aids creativity and ignore when it hinders is wise and empowering, creating a balanced approach to personal expression. Overall, it's a beautifully kind and gentle reminder to honor our creative journey and trust ourselves. I love this poem :)

Thank you for this very kind review. I'm delighted you found it useful.
Your creative genius is actually a double whammy for us, with your poetry and paintings on canvas that are brought to life. Like I said, you never miss!
Wow! A powerful way to link/define Courage in Creativity, and Creativity in Courage.

These are wise and helpful words which remind me of a book I read long ago--"The Courage to Create" by Rollo May. This applies to any creative craft, but for me, it especially applies to artwork. Applying that first brush stroke is like approaching Goliath with nothing but a stone to throw.

I find much solace in the idea that I am lucky enough to write poetry...
It is something that I need to have...and yet I don't feel responsible for anything I write.
I feel like a conduit...I just hit the keys.
I like the idea of being wary of the inner voice and that it isn't always our own.
