Shadows Dance

Shadows Dance

A Poem by intangible_soul

I am not beautiful.
nor am I sweet,
or amusing enough,
for you.

Shadows dance,
within you, and
the night calls me,
to solitude.

I wont die but,
I am dyng still,
every time mirth,
blooms in you.

I don't provoke,
this in you,
radiance is brighter,
anywhere but here.

If only you could,
see that somwhere,
here, yes here,
I am worthy.

But shadows dance,
within you, and
the night calls me instead,
to solitude.

It sounds gorgeous to me. Parts of it are images and ideas overused, but it appeals to me anyway. I like what you have. Maybe after a while you'll want to go back and touch it up, but I do think it's a good start. :)

I like to write but cant honestly claim I am a writer. I put things down on the page purely because it is therapeutic for me. I don't know anything about style, or what a good poem or prose consists o.. more..
