Whispers

The whispers that come to take your thoughts and happiness. Everyone has them.

It always comes.

When your happy,

Sad, and even angry.

The voice never leaves your mind.

It consumes your thoughts.

 

'I am in love.'

 

It's all fake.

 

'He told me he loved me.'

 

He hates everything about you.

 

These thoughts are wrong.

They take hold of you.

Mornings,

Evenings, and late at night.

They make you hate yourself.

 

'Maybe I should wear this.'

 

That makes you look fat.

 

'I feel like everyone is staring at me.'

 

They are staring at you because your ugly.

 

These thoughts are horrible.

They make you want to puke.

They make you do things,

That are bad for you.

You can't escape after that.

 

'Everyone hates me.'

 

You should just kill yourself.

 

'The world would be better off without me.'

 

Everyone would laugh and celebrate your death.

 

These thoughts are not yours.

They consume your life.

Tempt you to do things you would never do.

Hateful words are all they are.

All they will ever be.

 

'No one cares about me.'

 

Death would be easier.

 

'This gun is my only friend.'

 

And it will make you happier, I promise.

 

That promise is fake.

It will never be kept.

It is not real.

It was a lie to keep you from Heaven.

It was Satan.
