jimmy and jaimes

jimmy and jaimes

A Poem by (no es) maria
"

departure

"

jimmy

crooning everything i think and feel

wind tunnels

i've got inside my chest

jaimes

you in the sky

white tulle in your lap

yves and i

crying in our sleep

my friend and our splintered faith

your smile and your solid heart

your spirit

always with us

your vision afar

our hopes in the atmosphere

and thank you always

for knitting me a scarf, made of broken glass

I've just finished looking at a few of your poems - I don't have specific comments on any one of them, but definitley like your style (the form varies a bit, but the underlying style is there). You use words well and mold them around coherent themes. The stanzas just seem to flow onw into another with no distractions. Good writing. i'm going to subscribe to your writing (hope you don't mind) and wil be back regularly.
